PCWorld.com – Australian Firm Takes Blame for U.S. Domain Name Hijack

I wonder why this doesn’t happen more often. To me, this is the worst part: “About 5,000 customers were affected and some of them may have lost 100 or more e-mail messages over the weekend, Rosen said in an interview.”

I’d just like to say, I made sure to use an ICANN accredited registrar, gandi.net, for my domain registration and DNS management. Standards rule!
