What gets me about this election, compared with so many before it, is that there is A LIKABLE CANDIDATE IN THE RACE. But because he wasn’t the preordained Democratic nominee, dubbed by the establishment before this whole thing started, Bernie Sanders is fighting like hell just for second place. It’s not like we have to choose between the lesser of two evils this time. We are CHOOSING to choose between the lesser of two evils. If nothing else, it’s a valuable opportunity to learn and to re-calibrate your sense of reality.
