Witness another example of the ineptitude, insincerity, and deceit shown by American and international bodies toward whistle-blowers.

Not exactly the thrust of this article, but to pretend in light of this and damning internal Pentagon reviews that whistle-blowers are better off talking to anyone other than the press is dangerously, recklessly, callously wrong.
