Our hope and change candidate fell short time and time again. Obama cheerleaders who refused to make him accountable bear some responsibility

I will miss having Obama as our president immensely and with great sadness. But I think Cornel West makes excellent points that would be tragic if they were missed. Instead of this all or none thinking we tend to have, particularly partisan cheerleaders, we owe it to ourselves and posterity to honestly assess these people and events so that we may better learn from them. Otherwise we are just foolishly cheering and booing like mindless idiots doomed to repeat their mistakes forever.
