Immorality in Avengers: Endgame and Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy

I’ve always been disappointed by the decision of whomever for Aragorn to murder the Mouth of Sauron. Similarly it is disappointing to see the Avengers torture and murder Thanos.

These works seem to come from artists who are basically fanboys trying to one-up their predecessors without understanding the essence and purpose of storytelling and myth.
