I switched from Google Fi to Mint Mobile a couple weeks ago. The change has been fraught with problems.
I didn’t realize how many benefits I was getting from Google for subscribing to Google Fi. To be clear, when I canceled Google Fi, not only did I lose my ad-free YouTube experience; I lost my Gmail storage; I lost my Google photos storage; I lost my Google Drive……
So be careful when you switch your mobile carrier plan. Even though you might not have to sign up for long contracts you might lose massive numbers of services that you were unaware of getting in the first place.
