Think they know everything. Talk too much, too loudly, and for far too long without reasonable ending. They are the most evil species of human on this planet, believe it or not, not least because of their subversion of classical or enlightening endeavors of any kind.
There is more to say about this but I am done for now. I have to get this off my chest right now so I can move on with life. 🙂 <3 I guess I have “exorcised” myself of this evil, wicked element forever more. Thank you, William Peter Blatty!!! 👿👺😤😡😈
I think this is an allegory for our time. I’m mystified as to how the director and writer and whomever else pulled this off. It’s remarkable that something so complex could be manufactured in the midst of this ignorant state. This is art.
When I have time, maybe after I get the raccoons out of my HVAC system, I might explain why I think this movie is so poignant. In brief, it has a lot to do with paternalism, the All Father (or whatever), the hubris of white-male-capitalist-America, the searching for salvation from a savior instead of using reason and human intelligence to solve problems and create a better world.
The Guardian: What we can do now about Stone Mountain’s 150ft Confederate carving?. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/commentisfree/2020/jun/30/what-we-can-do-now-about-stone-mountains-150ft-confederate-carving
There’s so much more to say about this situation, the Mississippi flag with the Confederate symbol in it, but I just want to recognize the immense amount of pain and suffering that has gone into this effort. And finally there is this amount of triumph. Congratulations to everyone who took part in making this change happen.
Fucking cops, fascist bastards can all go to hell. “Sorry mommy didn’t love you like you wanted her to, you dumb fuck! But you don’t have to take it out on this poor, defenseless person!”
