Arrogantly I’m saying this is the “world” but I’m speaking about the planet Earth right now. :-)
I’m not voting for him and I hope you won’t either. Write in the candidate of your choice. Because, clearly, neither party is interested in nominating a candidate worthy of a vote.
Fuck all this.
Apparently things have to really hit rock bottom before enough people wake up. A lot of people have awakened! Obviously! And that’s fantastic! But the dead weight at the other end of the spectrum is still in deep sleep. Well, get ready, because the alarm’s about to go off and you can’t snooze it. 🙂 Go fuck yourself. You’ve held us back for far too long. Enough is enough.

There’s more!!

Our concept of “property” is almost ridiculous.
It is up to us to come up with our own solutions, to engage with these challenges before us, to raise up our voices, to connect with each other and work together to regain control of life on Earth. This is not science fiction or far-off speculation. This is right now. This has been happening since Christopher Columbus. And as with most problems, it seems, it would be far better to address it now rather than waiting even later and later and later. It only gets messier the longer we wait. We’ve already been asleep for far too long. As Rage Against the Machine implores us, WAKE UP.
The phrase “collapse aware” has entered my vocabulary. It will probably enter yours before too long also. 🙂 And that’s okay! Everything’s okay. But okay doesn’t equal easy.
We’ve tried this way of life, this method of structuring our societies, our nations, our time, our energy, our relationships, our land, our property; for a long time, long enough, long enough to know that it isn’t working. But we aren’t stopping it now are we. 🙂 No. We are continuing down the path of ruin despite the ceiling falling down on our heads the entire time.
Why are we persisting in a failed effort? That isn’t necessarily important to know right now. I suggest that what we should do is recognize our situation , create a new plan, and then execute the plan.
