Our New Dark Age

The importance of this event should not be underestimated. This signals the presence of a new dark age, truly.

I, coincidentally, am involved intimately in the dynamics and themes of this darkness, as it has affected my relationship with my children because of their mother’s superstitious attitude toward life on Earth, which she inherited from her superstitious parents, particularly her mother, who likes to believe in ghosts and spirits and such.

So here we are. Where actual scientific method has been largely ruled out as something we can rely on and trust as a way of guiding us through the misty haze of evidence which is limitless. We must rely on something to guide the way, to measure what is right and wrong, what is left and right, what is odd or even. Unfortunately, despite all of the book learnin’ people have participated in over the last several decades, centuries, etc., people keep thinking that things like fragile, illogical, error-prone, synthetic belief systems such as Christianity ™ and Islam and Judaism are both relevant, important, reasonable, inherently valuable, PROVABLE, and, worst, enforceable.

Look no farther, this is the problem we face as a civilization.
