And this is surprising to . . . ? 🤔
This really sets the stage for what we are going through right now. Hunter was exactly right about Nixon and all its administration portended for this miserable country. We are now reaping what we sowed back then. This is the price we pay for failing to elect George McGovern. This is the price we pay for not electing Henry A. Wallace. This is the price we pay for not electing Bernie Sanders. This is the price we pay for not electing George Mason. This is the price we will continue to pay until we learn our goddamn lesson. So fucking educate yourself, people. Smarten the fuck up. It’s your responsibility as a citizen of this country. If you decide it isn’t then maybe you should shoot yourself in the head or just leave some other, more graceful way. But you are standing in the way of progress. STFU and GTFO.

Buffoonery abounds in the state of Mississippi, even with a new “governor”. 🙂👍😁 Yes, it’s true. Who would have thunk it?! If only all these new things would stop happening!! Am I right, Tater?? 😁🇺🇲🤠
Here’s your voting test for 2020.
The Worst Negates the Bad (also, Be Grateful for What You’ve Got): The extremely common modern logical fallacy that an objectively bad situation somehow isn’t so bad simply because it could have been far worse, or because someone, somewhere has it even worse. E.g., “I cried because I had no shoes, until I saw someone who had no feet.” Or, “You’re protesting because you earn only $7.25 an hour? You could just as easily be out on the street! I happen to know there are people in Uttar Pradesh who are doing the very same work you’re doing for one tenth of what you’re making, and they’re pathetically glad just to have work at all. You need to shut up, put down that picket sign, get back to work for what I care to pay you, and thank me each and every day for giving you a job!”
Apparently the senator hasn’t been properly educated on how to think logically. But it sure has gotten him far in his life! Clearly our political class is rewarded not for being reasonable, nor correct, nor for pursuing truth, and definitely not for helping society; but instead for bullying, saying foolish things in public, appealing to the lowest common denominator, and distracting from the important things that are happening around us.
The Hill: New York Democrat on Ocasio-Cortez, other progressives: ‘Primaries go two
Yes, let’s pick more fights. Let’s use more violent language to substitute for rational civic discourse.
I think being in the same place for eleven terms has made this person very content to keep things as they are and he will obviously resort to abuse, at least verbal, in order to maintain the status quo.
Also, I’m willing to bet money that someone who speaks like this in public would not hesitate to physically abuse women and children — the least powerful in our society — as well.
That sounds like a conservative to me, i.e., someone who does not value progress and action. Step up and either act like a true liberal Democrat is supposed to act or have the courage to switch parties, unless you don’t think you could win an election that way.
