My review of Joker, the movie

Joker is the Rogue One of the comic book movie universe. Somehow some soul slipped into Hollywood again. Thank you, all involved!!! πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘βπŸ₯‚πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‰πŸ†πŸ₯‡πŸŽ«πŸŽƒπŸŽΊπŸ‘‘πŸ€‘

And the score was extremely tasteful!

I feel the movie landed punches squarely where they were aimed, deftly and powerfully. It expressed what I have been feeling for some time and obviously what many others have also been feeling, and it did it so beautifully. It was shot wonderfully. (I can’t wait to buy the Blu-ray.) The writing seemed perfect.

Underlining everything it seems is what has come up so often in my recent conversations: the utter lack of empathy on the part of our seemingly voluntarily emotionally stupid society. Everyone is so self-involved that they have abandoned their capacity for attempting to understand others. They’re so stupidly confident/confidently stupid that they don’t deign to lower themselves to having to, you know, relate to other human beings that are not in their immediate gene pool.

One of the important lessons: actions have consequences. πŸ™‚ Even the mighty American Empire can have its big toys go boom. The ultra-rich parasites can only feed off of everyone else for so long before bad things start happening that are out of anyone’s control, in which case everyone loses eventually, believe it or not.
