Reality does hit us in the face eventually, thank goodness. That’s what keeps us honest, isn’t it? πŸ™‚ Or at least reminds us of what honesty is? Even if you were to choose not to practice it yourself like Mein Drumpf here.

Air pollution is responsible for shortening people’s lives worldwide on a scale far greater than wars and other forms of violence, parasitic and insect-born diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS and smoking, according to a study published in Cardiovascular Research. – science

Some important lessons I’ve learned over the last year, during my separation.

At least ninety percent of women are interested in me primarily for my money, and that includes significant others and spouses.

And just for the record, I don’t blame women themselves for this. It’s the white male capitalist supremacist system that forces women to regard themselves in this way. Sexuality becomes necessarily a commodity rather than a human dynamic as it should be instead.

However, women could choose to rectify this if they were to feel like it. πŸ™‚ We all have choices in life. You can either go with the flow, right or wrong, or you can do your own thing as an independent, free thinking, reasonable human being. Then it becomes your responsibility to either be part of the solution or part of the problem, as it is with virtually every other situation in life.

Barack Obama Worse President Than Bush, Nixon, Poll Says | Time

Okay, I’m starting from the position of giving all credence to this headline and its subsequent leading paragraphs.

The definition of best and worst is so subjective yet it tracks with the feelings that people seem to have for our recent leaders.

This seems to support the phenomenon that I have observed where the news culture merely discusses the appearance of things rather than the substance of them. It seems like this poll or whatever it is seems to indicate that by its measure people seem to choose presidents based on how well they reflect the idea of what they see America as being. So it is projection, by psychological terms. This is not governance. This is a popularity contest where people pretend to think about things and make decisions and come to conclusions. It is a farce, in fact. People barely see beyond their own eyeballs. How can you hope to imagine a future worth living when you don’t even entertain notions that don’t strike you at the very moment??? You need to sit back and relax and think about things for a while and come up with some ideas worth discussing. And if you can’t do that then then society is your enemy. Which is what we have here. Society is preventing us from sitting back and relaxing and discussing ideas. So our society is fucked and malignant and needs to be expunged. There you have it.
