A necessary lecture you must attend if you are to continue entertaining the idea of living on Earth.

Professor Wolff could not have said it better, more clearly, more comprehensively, just what needs to be done to avoid total catastrophe on this planet. So get up off your couch and listen to the real news of the day, the only thing you need to think about until further notice.

Live long and prosper! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s your Joe Biden, you fucking idiots.

I’m not voting for him and I hope you won’t either. Write in the candidate of your choice. Because, clearly, neither party is interested in nominating a candidate worthy of a vote.

Fuck all this.

Apparently things have to really hit rock bottom before enough people wake up. A lot of people have awakened! Obviously! And that’s fantastic! But the dead weight at the other end of the spectrum is still in deep sleep. Well, get ready, because the alarm’s about to go off and you can’t snooze it. ๐Ÿ™‚ Go fuck yourself. You’ve held us back for far too long. Enough is enough.

Update, 2020-03-25:

There’s more!!

Socialism

It’s a good thing everyone is tired from their long day at work and unable to participate in life.

Bernie Sanders is patiently waiting for people to wake the fuck up.

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/07/03/harris-warren-2020-dems-poll-1396656

That’s what the headline was supposed to be. ๐Ÿ™‚

But the sleepyheads are still in the lead! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ How exciting this is for us to be writing about and watching instead of thinking deliberately!!! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ So, let’s see:

  • We know the name “Biden” real well. Check!
  • He’s white like our nice, smart father, and the bread that we eat. Check! (But, shh! Don’t question him or make him angry!)
  • He talks with the greatest of ease. Check!
  • He smiles and is friendly. Check!

Once he’s back in charge we’ll all be safe again. Ahhh! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ด

Some important truisms you should accept sooner rather than later. :-) Wake up!!!

  1. The citizens of this planet are governed increasingly by the wealthy elite through corporate control of governments including the tragically hilariously, fraudulently undemocratic United States of America, Inc.
  2. The environmental crises we are experiencing need to be addressed immediately if it isn’t already too late in order to prevent this planet from being uninhabitable by human beings.
  3. The wealthy elite have clearly known for a long, long time that these environmental crises have been on the horizon and have chosen to continue their path of greed and destruction.
  4. The wealthy elite are obviously increasingly prepared to abandon the concept of preserving human life on Earth in the interest of their own preservation in some form, either in the shrinking number of habitable places on Earth or on extraterrestrial platforms such as orbital communities, colonies on other planets they are able to reach.

It is up to us to come up with our own solutions, to engage with these challenges before us, to raise up our voices, to connect with each other and work together to regain control of life on Earth. This is not science fiction or far-off speculation. This is right now. This has been happening since Christopher Columbus. And as with most problems, it seems, it would be far better to address it now rather than waiting even later and later and later. It only gets messier the longer we wait. We’ve already been asleep for far too long. As Rage Against the Machine implores us, WAKE UP.

Governing Human Society on Earth

I think we’ve come to the point where any reasonable person would concede that what we’re doing isn’t working. There necessarily comes a time when there is no more time left to conduct studies; to have discussions; to debate trivialities into infinity; to convince or educate the ignorant and shallow and easily satisfied and incurious; to compromise yet further; to reach across the aisle. That time is upon us. It’s time to shift gears now. This is a binary change. On or off. Forward or backward. Thrive or wither.

There is no middle.

There is no half gear. Do you see a 1 1/2 gear on your car’s stick shift? You pick a direction and you follow it. You do not simultaneously follow one direction and another or else you will split yourself in two. Any idiot can see that.

We’ve so far gathered much information throughout our human history about ways human beings can thrive on this planet. We have way more information than is necessary to solve all of our problems! Do you understand that? However we have chosen not to act upon that information and pursue courses of action that truly allow us to thrive as a species and to thrive as a planet. Instead we have chosen to follow the moving target, the rabbit on the post, watch the same old show over and over again, tell the same old joke, perform the same old tradition. Instead of using what we’ve learned in order to move forward and better ourselves and our society and our circumstances and our understanding of the universe we have chosen instead to take all of that, fancy merely the shiny bits, sit on the couch, eat potato chips and watch TV and get fat and drunk and stupid and drive bigger and bigger trucks. Our coastlines are not collectively-owned celebrations of nature’s beauty and places to reflect and enjoy but staging areas for pushing more metal and plastic and oil and waste into the oceans, making them merely extensions of our mismanaged, exploitative, terrestrial roadways.

Sigh. It’s late and I’m tired so I’m going to go home. I’ll write more later maybe. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’œโœŒ๏ธ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿฆ„๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ›ธ

If you donate money to me I’ll have more time and energy to think about and write about the solutions to all of these problems I’m identifying and outlining all over the place. If you find it too hard to figure out how to donate money to me let me know and I will improve the system. Thank you for your support and your eyeballs and your mind and your heart! ๐Ÿ™‚ If we work together we can turn this situation upside down and make it better.

Capitalism is the cause

Calls to reign in the excesses of capitalism; to better enforce laws; to increase oversight; to improve regulation. . . . This is a never-ending mostly centrist crusade to blunt the effects of a brutal and inhumane system that is functioning exactly as intended. The foundations of our system need to change profoundly and along with it what we call capitalism needs to be burned in the crucible of history. If such things as capitalism and industrialism were ever actually necessary in human progress they certainly are no longer and should be banished to the ages before we destroy ourselves, eyes wide open.

The root of the problem, if you care or are otherwise interested

This references an article I wrote about previously:

Losing Earth: The Decade We Almost Stopped Climate Change โ€“ The New York Times

As Mr. Wolff points out, the New York Times continues its seemingly proud tradition, one it shares with plenty of other purveyors of truth, of stopping short of assigning blame where it is due and responsibly questioning the premises of this situation.
