stupid teens

This is from Harper’s:

labor pains, were smoking to reduce the birth weight of
their babies.

WTF???

Goldberg notes that frontal lobe maturity occurs at 18 and wonders if the environment can pressure people to assume adult roles early.

That explains some of it — teens have diminished mental function. (Fuck you, teens.) I have read articles that put that age at more like 21 to 23.
