We live in a nation of cheaters, top to bottom. You see it everyday. And I would allege that because the rules make no sense, people behave in a nonsensical fashion. Unjust laws breed disrespect for the law.

This is bittersweet for many reasons.
Most timely among them is that there are many assets for my father’s estate that are going to my deranged and paranoid ex-wife. I’m glad that my children’s caretaker is getting some money to take care of them. That’s the good part. The bad part is that the bitch still has my last name and is still cashing checks from my family despite treating me, her link to my family, so coldly and stupidly. I would think that she might realize that she’s benefiting from me even while she is torturing and exiling me from my family. That seems a little twisted, don’t you think? It is probably lost on her anyway. She was never a really deep thinker.
Something else about this aspect of my life is that my father died in 2015 and we’re still going through this, uncovering assets. My father supposedly went to great lengths to ensure that his death would be a trivial affair and things would be taken care of in a timely and humane fashion, sparing his loved ones any bureaucratic or legal burden. But this has turned out not to be the case. I’m sure he would be disappointed. And whenever one of these things is uncovered it begs the question what else is out there?? He tried to make sure that everything was in order in trusts and whatnot well before he died. It seems like even when you go out of your way to prepare for things the system will still fuck you somehow.
And they are symptomatic of the capitalist farce that has engulfed the world and threatens to doom its inhabitants.
“Remastering” is a hilarious way to refer to what has been done to the original content. 🙂 Why not say “reimagining” and go all the way to Stupid Town! No, nothing was mastered or remastered but simply fucked up and ruined, spoiled.
The time has come to rise up against fascism in all its forms. Even in its sweet little, down home, country style. Fascism can look a bunch of different ways. If you work in an office building, you are already likely accustomed to fascism’s hallmarks. There are the trivial kinds, like being forced to use toilets designed for something other than human beings, on a daily basis, day after day after day; the poorly maintained stalls that were not designed by anyone with any care for what experience it might bring and which could possibly be the reality for a person, a lifer, for dozens of years. That would be the worst tragedy, to portray life on Earth as it is presented by small-minded simpletons who are too busy being fat and stupid and greedy and lazy and dumb.
Thank the Earth for mushrooms!!! And marijuana! And other types of antidotes to these miseries that are portrayed incessantly as the only way to live in such a busy, complex world, surely beyond the understanding and enjoyment of the common person.
